This Week’s Wind Check

Before You Decide What You Know

Sometimes what we know is accurate, but our understanding is still incomplete.

As you reflect on this week’s Scripture and teaching, take a few moments to examine how you approach situations that require judgment. You can write your reflections below, save a copy for yourself, or print them.

Reflection 01

What do I know, and what am I assuming?

Think about a situation where you’ve formed a conclusion. What facts can you establish, and what parts of your understanding are based on interpretation?

Reflection 02

Have I heard enough to make a responsible judgment?

Is there another question worth asking or a perspective that deserves consideration before you decide what you believe?

Reflection 03

Am I willing to reconsider what I believe?

If new information challenges your understanding, are you willing to examine it fairly, even when doing so is uncomfortable?

Before you go

You don’t have to resolve every uncertainty today. Sometimes the first step toward greater clarity is acknowledging what you still need to understand.
